After entering the system, open the Firefox browser
Enter the URL 127.0.0.1:8180, it may not be opened because the program has not yet started. The slowest is usually 10 minutes later, and more ctrl + f5 force refresh.
Select the language and use the follow account to log in to the MPGS system:
Open MPGS and click Parking Map.
You can build new project or import backup project map after then.
If there is an existing project already, you can download and export the map, delete it or continue to add.
After importing as below:
Import other layers here, or import later.
First get familiar with the drwing instructions and hot keys in the map editor.
Pay attention to whether the hand shape is triggered when drawing the map. It is used to drag and zoom when it is triggered, or press the space bar to trigger the drag and zoom function. When the palm lights up, it means you are not in zoom mode.
Pay attention to whether it is locked, especially when drawing the map for several times. It cannot be edited after it is locked and needs to be unlocked. Green is unlocked.
Please note to hide the layer. It is impossible to be seen after hidden, but it is convenient for drawing the map.
Pay attention to save frequently to avoid unsuccessful saving of the map when the network is disconnected or other problems.
Save it at intervals to avoid loss due to abnormalities.
If you need to add more floors, click here and import the corresponding drawings.
First click on "Content" and the corresponding floor, and draw the parking spaces.
Click one parking space to come out, after canceling the click, adjust to a suitable size.
Associate the corresponding equipment, such as Ultrasonic Detector, and fill in the parking space number. The next point will automatically increase the parking space number.
Drag more parking spaces out, fill up the parking spaces in the car park, and fill in the parking space number. If the parking space number is unknown, leave it alone.
When placing the points, bind the corresponding equipment first, and then it is best to place them in the order of the parking space numbers, because after the first parking space number is filled in, the parking space numbers of the following points will increase by default.
Develop good habits and save occasionally to avoid data loss caused by network disconnection.
Place the display where you need to place and fill in the corresponding group address, sign address, font size and corresponding IP that you recorded in advance.
If using RS485 to connect the AKE RS485 display. Then the IP should fill in 127.0.0.1
For 18 type display, just fill in its 8-digits ID, no need to fill in the group address and sign address. 18 type display are in active reporting mode.
What is a logic area?
The following picture shows a car park. The yellow is the road, the blue-gray box is the parking space, M and N are the indoor guidance displays, and P is the outdoor guidance display. Then we need to separate the areas of the car park. as follows:
M indoor guidance display: the parking space included in the left turn is A3, the right turn is A4, and the forward is A5+A6+A7.
N indoor guidance display: the parking space included in the left turn is A5, and the right turn is A6.
P outdoor guidance display: It displays the parking spaces of the whole car park, which is A1+A2+A3+A4+A5+A6+A7, or only 1 total area A8.
If defined the the logic zone of the car park on the first floor as A1,A2…… Then second floor will be B1,B2…… The area type is selected as "Guidance Area"
Click on the display, if you want the display to show "how many parking spaces to the left, how many parking spaces to the right", the operation steps: Click: "←, 888, add, 888, →, add" to achieve the following effect.
Bind the logical area: After clicking the binding area button, directly click the corresponding area on the map to increase. Each group of numbers can be associated with multiple areas to display its real-time parking space.

Enter the URL 127.0.0.1:8122
in the browser.
Select the language and use the follow account to log in to the DMS system:
After the MPGS parking map is drawn and saved, the corresponding information (IP, group address, sign address, etc.) will be brought to the DMS automatically.
If the display is connected and well communication, it will show online and you can send content by Device Debug.

Enter the debugging interface: Long press ESC and ENTER, press RESET once, wait until the screen displays welcome, release ESC and ENTER, and then press ENTER will enter the administrator mode of the controller: press LEFT and SHIFT to switch its menu.
There are 4 menus in total :
Auto Check
Automatic inspection switch, default on, please don’t change.
Look over
Automatically loop view all the detector status.
Single check
Singlely check one certain detector status.
Setup address
Set the address for the controller.
If there are 8 controllers at site, edit their ID to 01~08 according to the drawings or install them in a certain order.
Ultrasonic detector will all use "ultrasonic detector" in the software.
The LED indicator is controlled by the ultrasonic detector, so there is no need to draw the LED indicator in the software.
Bind the ultrasonic detector to the parking space and fill in the ID of the ultrasonic detector. For example, if the zonal controller ID is 3 and the detector ID is 1, then the ultrasonic parkiong space address is 0301.
If the address of the parking space just filled in is 0301, then click to add the next parking space and click the "+" sign, and the 0302 address will be filled by default, which is convenient for quick drawing.
If using RS485 to connect the zonal controller. Then add equipment and fill in base on actual.
The factory default IP for RS485 linking is also 127.0.0.1
Address and port please also fill in actual.
According to the zonal controller and the ultrasonic detector it loads to add the corresponding element in the DMS ultrasonic module.
For example, the No. 3 zonal controller has loaded ultrasonic detectors 00-36, and the settings are as below.
If using Ethernet to connect the zonal controller. If the RS485 to ethernet convertor have been set and connected. The IP and port shall be filled in the actual convertor IP and port.
If the RS485 to ethernet converter have been set.
Under PUD, you can see the online status of each ultrasonic detector.
1. Add the loop detector in the DMS first.
2, Open the MPGS Map Editor and creat the DG AREA(loop detector area), input the related information. Then bingding the related loop detector to this DG AREA.
3, Creat the display in the map and input the related information. Bingding the DG AREA to this display.
4, Open the Car Park--Area Management--Set. Then you can set the total area parking spaces number and also the remaining parking spaces number(vacant parking spaces number).
5, You can also press the button of Timing Set. And in here you can set the rule that to set a specify remaining parking spaces number at the specified time (automatic calibration for loop detector area).
Different ethernet converter may be different setting, but the main parameters that need to be set are as follow:
Converter working mode: Station Mode
According to the server IP information, correspondingly modify the converter's IP and other information. Make sure the server/PC and the converter to be in the same IP segment.
(Note that you will see the place where the IP is filled only when you turn off DHCP)
The baud rate needs to be modified to 9600 and the buffer size to 1400
Please select the TCP SERVER protocol , the local port number please set to 5233(the same as the setting in DMS), and the buffer size please set to 1400.
